Nap Time Yet?

On Sunday Mommy & Daddy were taking showers and getting ready to go car shopping. We walked into the bedroom to find that Mia had created a little bed for her & Baby Bear and put themselves down for a nap! Apparently she was a little sleepy and wasn't too excited about going out in the heat... As usual she was a trooper and put on her game face! At least until she fell asleep in the car. What a lover!

Tubby Time!

I'm pretty sure Mia doesn't even remember what it's like to take a bath without Mommy or Daddy! It's so much fun for us that we actually fight over who gets to take a tubby with her each evening... Nothing like a little quality Midget time in the tub to wrap up the day!

Slip n Slide!!

We all remember the 'Slip n Slide', right?! Well, guess what? They are back... Momma found one at a local store and we set it up in Dave & Lindsey's back yard. The Midget was so excited that she couldn't even wait to get her swim suit on... An absolute blast!

Train Ride!

Mia just loves to ride the train with Momma! What a cutie...

Daddy's Day!

Can you believe we're celebrating our second Father's Day already?! Wow, time flies when you have such an incredible Midget!! Mommy & Mia surprised Daddy and planned a trip up to Flagstaff to enjoy some cool weather. Grammy & Papa came along as well, so it was truly a relaxing family weekend... Mommy & Mia, as thoughtful as always, surprised Daddy with some wonderful gifts. The best being a custom made shirt that Momma had made for Mia to wear that said, "Peace, Love & Daddy". It was all bedazzled and unbelievably cute on Daddy's favorite girl!!!! We drove up to the mountains on Saturday morning and enjoyed a relaxing weekend together. Absolutely everything a Daddy could wish for... Two perfect angels to love!

Papa Love!

Mia is so lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents! She absolutely adores Grammy & Papa. As you can see in this picture, Mia takes every opportunity to crawl all over Papa and is constantly holding his hand or dancing on his feet! It's so sweet to see the bond... She was so happy they came with us to Flagstaff for the weekend.

Mary Bear Goes for a Walk...

While we were in Flagstaff, Mia was insistent that she bring Mary Bear with us wherever we went... You can't imagine the overwhelming response from Mia's fans. (That would be anyone and everyone who sees her!) She's so damn cute to begin with, but factor in the bear and stroller and, well, you can imagine... The picture says it all!

Bubble Bath!

Mia loves taking a tubby in Mommy & Daddy's room. Especially when she gets to share the tub with her good friends Meggie & Shea! Here she is conducting the flute section of the bubble orchestra!!

Summer Concert!

Kiki came to visit with her beautiful twins Meggie & Shea. We all went to Stilman Railroad Park for a summer concert! Sasha, Maya and lots of Mia's other friends came as well. We went for wagon rides, played with glow sticks and had a picnic. Loads of fun...

Rosemary Beach!

We spent the last week in Rosemary Beach, Florida with our good friends from Nashville, Caryl & AJ, along with their beautiful kids Maribeth, Will & baby Abbey! We brought Mia's cousin Nicholas along with us, and he was so helpful, polite and fun! Mia sure was happy to have her favorite cousin with her...

We rented a house on Rosemary Beach, a planned development in the pan handle of Florida. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, but it was perhaps the most enjoyable time we've had together as a family. Long lazy days at the beach, big naps followed by relaxing dinners and a long evening bike ride... Mia was in heaven! Can you ask for more? Good friends, great weather and the world's most perfect child!!

Fun on Bikes!

We rented a couple of cruisers at the beach and Mia had her own little seat to enjoy the show! This was undoubtedly the highlight of her vacation... She loved riding with Mommy & Daddy! Looks like we'll be ordering one of these contraptions when we get home...

Of course we had to track down some puppies, since Mia is certain they live at the beach!! Thankfully Caryl & AJ brought along Fred & Ethel, a couple English Bull dogs who Mia is convinced are her best friends...

There was a great little candy store called the Sugar Shack! As you can tell, Mia may have visited a time or two for ice cream... Big lover!

Surfer Girl!!

I'm pretty sure she really thought she was surfing... That was, until Daddy was swimming out to the sand bar with Mia and watched a 6 foot Hammerhead shark casually swim by! Yikes... That was enough ocean for one vacation.

Self Portrait!!

Mia recently discovered how a camara works... However, instead of taking photos of others, she loves to take self portraits! Here is a charmer of a photo. Look at how soft and smooth her perfect little skin is... What an angel!

Puppy Love!

Mia sure does love puppy dogs! She spots them from the back seat when we're driving, long before Mommy & Daddy even see them... Here is a cute picture of Mia with Grammy & Papa's new dog, Darby. They are sharing a tooth brush. How cute & hygenic!
