Chillin'...

It was a quick weekend in Colorado, and Mia decided she needed a little down time. She insisted we get her her own room for a little privacy. When we checked on her she had just polished off some room service cheese cake and was catching up on some TV. After I took this photo she rubbed her belly, rolled over, and asked me to shut off the television on my way out... Wow they grow up quick!!

Quality Devanny Time...

This past weekend we went to Colorado Springs for a little Memorial Day getaway. We stayed at the Broadmoor hotel, which is a beautiful old place built in 1918. Very much a throwback in time... Pat & Kiki live in Colorado Springs, so we got a chance to hang out with them for dinner, a little pool time, as well as a nice barbecue they hosted at their beautiful new home! Mia had a great time hanging out with their son Colin and twins Shea & Meggie. We had a great time and Mia always gets so excited to meet new friends!

Pool Time with Aunt Cathy!

The hotel pool at the Broadmoor was a little chilly, so Mia was bundled up tight hanging out with Aunty Cathy! Mia is learning words so quickly now, although her favorite word is still 'no'... However, Aunt Cathy holds the distinct honor of being the first proper first name that Mia ever spoke. On Sunday we were all playing in the room and Mia walked up to Aunt Cathy, looked right at her, and said 'Cathy' flawlessly clear. It was so freaky that she spoke it so clearly when most of her words have cute little inflections or altered syllables... She's an absolute genius!

Zoo Time...

Mia got to go to the Colorado Springs zoo with Mommy, Grandma & Grandpa on Saturday morning. (Daddy was sleeping in...) I'm told that Mia had an absolute blast feeding the giraffes. Although she sure hung on tight to Grandma! She had a great time with her Grandparents and is learning new words each day... It's such a fun age.

Crazy Uncle Ryan!

While in Colorado Spring this past weekend Mia learned that Uncle Ryan is a lot of fun... In fact, Uncle Ryan spent so much time chewing on Mia's toes to make her laugh, that every time he would walk in the room she would stick her leg out for him to chew on! She loves playing with her crazy Uncle Ryan.

So Pretty...

While Mommy was getting ready to go out, Mia decided it was time to learn how to apply make up! She had so much fun rubbing Mommy's powder brush on her face... So pretty!

Biker Chicks!

Fred & Stephanie Pizzedaz bought Mia a wooden Harley rocker a few months back. Not only has Mia fallen in love with riding it and makes 'vroom vroom' noises, but she is now onto standing up on the seat or, as shown here, riding on the front tire... Mia & Madi were having fun and Daddy had to spoil it by taking pictures!
