Rodeo Girl

Mia attended her first rodeo this past weekend. The 'Livingston Round Up' was so much fun! Between the bucking broncs and all the Coors Original, Mia has decided she prefers the good living of the West to city life...

Beatiful Country Girls...

Mommy & Mia lighting up Montana. No matter where they go they are the most beautiful girls in town...

Cowgirl Mia!

If I didn't know better I'd have thought she was born in Montana! What a cutie... Oh, and did I mention that Mia now has two pairs of cowboy boots?! Yep, had to have a pink pair and a tan pair...

First Fireworks!!

Mia got to see her first 4th of July fireworks show at the Ranch! She was a little tentative with the noise and explosions, but seemed to enjoy it for the most part. Just a little clingy, but we never mind that...

Playtime at the Ranch!

Eben & Nancy, along with their whole family, had us up to their beautiful ranch in Montana for the long holiday weekend. Hubbards Yellowstone Lodge is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we've ever been. It is always a great time and their whole family are always amazingly gracious. Finally having Mia with us this year made it even more special... Mia always has so much fun playing with Blaze & Madi, and this year their cousin Sita was also there to to entertain our crazy kid! They rolled down the grassy hills, filled their pockets with rocks and played until they could hardly stand any longer. During the 4th of July cookout all the kids were getting sprayed with water through the kitchen window by the ranch hands doing the dishes, and Mia jumped right. She got all wet and started jumping up and down gigglng so much I thought she was going to fall down! It means so much to us to see Mia smiling and giggling and having so much fun with all the other kids. There isn't a better feeling in the world... We're very lucky to be surrounded by so many good friends!

Happy 4th of July from our Newest Citizen!!

This was Mia's first Independence Day as an American citizen! We had a wonderful cook out at the ranch on the evening of the 4th, followed by some spectacular fireworks. We couldn't have dreamed of a more relaxing and fulfilling holiday with our American midget!!

Crazy Lazy!

It is absolutely unbelievable how much Mia takes after us as time goes on... Specifically Daddy! After a nice long nap on a hot Montana afternoon, Mia woke up, propped herself up on the pillows and dug into a bag of pretzels. I wish we could show you a film as it was truly hysterical. She was an old man in a cute little girls body!! Note that her arm is stuck in the pretzel bag at the moment...

First Tattoo!

Mia got her first tattoo while in Montana. Or a 'stamper' as she like to call it! It was a cute little elephant and she spent the evening walking around doing her elephant noise. Which is interesting since we never taught her what an elephant sounds like. She's good at improvising!
