Happy Momma's Day!

I'm fairly certain that Momma had a wonderful Mother's Day hanging at the beach with her most favorite person in the whole wide world!

Lunatic...

It's official, the lunacy has set in... While this picture may appear to be of a happy go lucky child, the reality is that our midget has gone insane in the past few weeks! Wow, I had no idea that a little creature could cop such an immense attitude! What was once all fun and games is suddenly a constant power struggle. Yep, it's her way or a tantrum... We're figuring our way through this maze, thanks to quite a bit of advice from those who have gone before us. If you think I'm exaggerating, just listen to this little story: On Sunday night Mia wouldn't let Mommy put a diaper on her after a bath. She would turn her body into a noodle, and then go stiff as a board. When Mommy finally gave up in frustration, Daddy decided he would fix things! Yeah, right... The end result was that Mia got herself so worked up screaming and hypraventilating that she actually threw up on Daddy! Yep, loads of fun... Thank god we love her as much as we do!! Anyone with advice, please feel free to share with a couple of inexperienced parents!

Clean Ears!

The fun never ends with the crazy kid who is our midget! While cleaning her ears she decided to put on an impromptu comedy skit... The results speak for themselves!

First Boating Adventure!

Mia experienced her first boating adventure today! Bob Novak, aka Cheeks, recently moved to Phoenix and invited us out for a day of boating on Lake Pleasant. Mia had an absolute blast, except for the part where we hit really big waves while going really fast... That part definitely wasn't her favorite, but she was a great sport about it! Her favorite part of the day was definitely getting to hang with Cheeks' dog Maximus. The two were inseperable! She sure does love animals... It's always a fun day with the Midget!!

Date Night!

Last week Mommy & Daddy took Mia to see Elmo Sesame Street Live! First we had a quiet family dinner at the Club. Here I am with the Midget... She's at such a sweet age with the hugs and poses! Mia enjoyed the show, but got a little tired after intermission. So we took her, and her new Elmo binoculars, home to bed early.

Daddy's Helper!

Daddy was doing a little work on the computer this weekend when the Midget decided she would help! As you can she, she crawled up on the desk and made herself comfortable so she could focus on properly editing Daddy's work... Is there anything this kid does that isn't shockingly adorable?!

Yet Another Boyfriend...

Cam & Paula came to visit with their beautiful son Tyler, and Mia fell in love yet again... What can we say, she's a hopeless romantic! Just look at the happy couple. Who could deny their love?

Routine - Some Things Never Change...

Mia is growing and changing so quickly, yet some things never change! Each morning, after Mia excitedly greets Mommy & Daddy, she assumes the pose seen above. Momma tucks her in on the couch with her special blanket, surrounds her with all her bears, and then gives her a nice warm cup of 'nuni'. (milk in mandarin) She takes the next 30 minutes to slowly wake up while she watches her favorite TV show, the Wiggles! In fact, Daddy just surprised his girls with tickets to see the Wiggles live in Las Vegas in July. I can't wait to see her little face... What a lover!
