Mia's new Best Friend, Ethel...

We travelled to Nashville this weekend for Caryl & AJ's baby shower. They were kind enough to put us up in their beautiful home, so Mia felt it was only appropriate to reciprocate their kindness by feeding their cute little French Bulldog's, Fred & Ethel, all weekend... Here she is seen sharing some breakfast with Ethel. What a giver...

Midget Travel...

I'm happy to announce that Mia is now officially a seasoned traveler! After all the trips we've taken, she has finally settled into an airplane routine. We brought along a DVD player in the slim hope that she might be willing to watch, and sit still. We really thought it was a long shot. Amazingly, she put on her little head set and rocked out to the Wiggles!! It was so freaking cute to see her just hanging out on Mommy's lap all relaxed... She's the best!

Our little OCD Girl...

Our little Mia is taking after her Daddy! She climbed int the shower this morning, all on her own, and proceeded to squeegee the glass clean... We couldn't be more proud of our clean little angel.

All joking aside, it is shocking to see what Mia picks up unexpectedly. Yesterday evening when I got home from work I kicked off my shoes. A few minutes later I watched her pick up my shoes, walk into our closet and place them where they go, perfectly aligned. She amazes me...

Studying China!

Last week we hung a map of China in Mia's room and spent a little time studying Mia's heritage. She was surprisingly interested in the map! Unfortunately we used the same map to pinpoint the recent earthquake...

First Mommy's Day!

It was so great to finally get to celebrate Stacy's first Mother's Day! We had a very relaxing weekend with Grammy & Poppa in Tucson. All except the several hours late on Saturday night when Mia decided to wake up and scream at the top of her lungs, hysterically crying... Yes, that was very relaxing and enjoyable. In fact, it was the first time we've ever reached the point of allowing Mia to cry herself to sleep... A horrific experience, but what do you do when you're left with no options?! Anyhow, back to the better part. On Sunday morning we went for a great brunch with Grammy & Poppa, and Paul & Veronta at a local resort. Mommy's first Mother's Day was so special and Mia couldn't have been any sweeter. Especially since she slept through most of brunch in her stroller! I wonder why she was so tired?! ~

I'm off to Grammy's!

While packing for our trip to see Grammy & Poppa in Tucson, Mia was adamant that she have her own suitcase... After Mommy packed the Princess suitcase, Mia proceeded to drag it all over the house in excitement!! She just couldn't wait to see her Grandparents...

Just a little off the top, please...

Mia's first haircut!! After many attempts at different positions, and juggling Mia back and forth from Mommy to Daddy, we finally got those bangs! Holly was so great and patient with Mia. She just didn't want to part with any of those beautiful locks...

But I don't want my hair cut...

All we wanted was a light trim of the bangs... But no, our little midget wouldn't have any of it! This was one of our first attempts that didn't fly!
