In the realm of Chinese adoption, 'Gotcha Day' is a big thing. Gotcha Day is the day that you finally hold your new child for the first time, after a very long wait... We held Mia in our arms for the first time on September 17th, 2007. Can you believe it's been 2 years already?! We can't... Time flies so fast. To celebrate our 2nd anniversary together we went out to dinner at 'The Great Wall', a fabulous Chinese restaurant in town. As usual, Mia was the center of attention. During dinner Mia noticed that their was a dance floor, and insisted that Daddy dance with her. She showed off her twirls... She's the best, and we're very lucky to be able to share our lives with her!Thursday, September 17, 2009
