Sleep Over!!

Russell, Chrissy & Sascha slept over on Saturday night! Mia & Sascha had a ball, as always... Saturday night they talked the baby sitter into letting them stay up late, while Mommy's & Daddy's went out for dinner. I'm thinking Sascha's superior language skills had a lot to do with that one!

They always have so much fun playing together, and this weekend was no exception. I believe the theme to this sleep over would have to be 'BUBBLES!'. When we told Mia on Saturday that Sascha was coming over, she spent the whole afternoon repeating, "Sascha, Sascha, Sascha..." They are so sweet together...

The Love...

As always, Mia likes to attack Betty Bear with her overwhelming love and hugs! This time Sascha joined in and Betty Bear was suffocated with love!

The best way to start your day!

Nothing like being sound asleep one moment, and having a couple angels dancing on your bed the next!! This morning Mia & Sascha decided to wake Daddy with a surprise attack. I'm sure Stacy and Chrissy didn't instigate this one...

Sunday Night Swim!

On Sunday nights we've been going to the Club for a little swimming and dinner. It's been 110+ degrees for well over a week now, so swimming is the only way to enjoy the outdoors. Mia loves to play basketball, and makes Daddy lift her up so she can slam dunk! She's becoming quite the little fish... Kurt & Sue brought Wolfie & Parker up to swim with us this week. They are always a blast, and Mia loves rough housing with the boys!

First Daddy's Day!

For Daddy's Day we went down to Tucson for the weekend with Ken & Jackie. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend hanging at Grammy & Papa's beautiful home. All the ladies made a yummy brunch and Mia entertained us by spitting out her food after each bite! It was a whole new experience actually being a Daddy. I can't imagine what life would be like without our little midget... The love and enjoyment she brings into our lives makes our life BM (Before Mia) seem empty! I love my midget.

Mia's First Drive!

Ok, so it's only a golf cart, but she drove surprising well... Of course she had a little assistance from Jackie! When it's 114 out, riding in the golf cart sure beats walking.

Momma's View...

This is pretty much the image that Stacy spends her whole life viewing! It's usually accompanied by a very loud and slurred, "Uppie!" Sweet, patient Momma...

Wii Bowling with Papa!

While visiting Grammy & Papa we all learned how much fun the Wii game system is. Here is Mia bowling with Papa Schmool. She was so cute imitating everybody's moves...

Sooo Cute!

Isn't she just the cutest? Hanging out at Grammy & Papa's in Tucson!

Cool Shades!

When I got home from work tonight Mia was playing with Carmel, one of her favorite babysitters. Apparently she had absconded Carmel's glasses and wanted to show me how cool she is! Awfully damn cool that kid...

First Harley!

Mia finally got her first Shirley Davidson! It's been quite the wait, but her patience was finally rewarded with a pink & purple 2008 model. It's got forward and reverse, with a little foot pedal for an accelerator... She hasn't tried jumping the house yet, but I've got high aspirations for this little one!! Look Ma, no hands!

New Toys!

Stacy has been upset lately that there isn't enough for Mia to do outside unless she's in the pool. So we got her a little slide deal and a water table last weekend. It's amazing watching how much fun the Midget has with her new toys! She wants to be outside all the time... Thankfully it's only been about 100-102, so it's still seasonably mild!!!!!!!

Concert Time!

On Sunday nights they have outdoor concerts at the train park. It's really fun as we pack a picnic, load Mia's wagon, and all the kids run around going nuts with the dogs, frizbees, etc. We try and make as many of them as we can when we're in town. This past Sunday the FCC (Families with Children from China) group all went together. Mia brought along her chair and decided to share it with her best friend Sascha! So sweet...

Determination...

Mia has been determined to learn how to use that damn spoon... It's been so great learning to watch her use a fork and spoon, learning to speak, etc. Then, last night while we were in bed, Stacy mentioned that she read this is the age children begin to throw their first trantrums! We discussed how lucky we were that Mia doesn't throw tantrums... I'm willing to bet you can guess where this is going. Tonight during dinner Mia decided not only was she not going to eat, but that she would make sure we understood her point by throwing her plate of food on the floor! Yes, our sweet little angel is offically a woman now!
